Enough!

When is enough going to be enough. More on the immigration protests below. Interesting reading. Never saw this on the news.

I think it's time to stand up some and start the letter writing. Congressmen and Senators and let them know that this is bullshit. It's time to take control of our borders and start enforcing OUR laws. If you need links to your elected officials in DC, do a google search and you will find them. I am sending mine today.

Laus Deo; A little history lesson.

Little known facts about the
Washington Monument in D.C.

LAUS DEO: A little history lesson you may enjoy.

 One detail that is not
mentioned, in DC, is that there can never be a building of greater height than the Washington Monument.

With all the uproar about removing the ten commandments, etc... This is
worth a moment or two of your time.  I was not aware of this historical information.

On the aluminum cap, atop the Washington Monument in Washington, DC, are
displayed two words: Laus Deo.  No one can see these words.  In fact, most visitors to the monument are totally unaware they are even there and for that matter, probably couldn't care less.

Once you know Laus Deo's history, you will want to share this with everyone
you know.  But these words have been there for many years; they are 555 feet, 5.125 inches high, perched    top the monument, facing skyward to the Father of our nation, overlooking the 69 square miles which comprise the District of Columbia, capital of the United States of America.

Laus Deo!  Two seemingly insignificant, unnoticed words.  Out of sight
and, one might think, out of mind, but very meaningfully placed at the highest point over what is the most powerful city in the most successful
nation in the world.

So, what do those two words, in Latin, composed of just four syllables and
only seven letters, possibly mean?  Very simply, they say "Praise be to
God!"

Though construction of this giant obelisk began in 1848, when James Polk
was President of the United States, it was not until 1888 that the monument was inaugurated and opened to the public.  It took twenty five years to finally cap the memorial with a tribute to the Father of our nation, Laus
Deo .Praise be to God!"

From atop this magnificent granite and marble structure, visitors may take
in the beautiful panoramic view of the city with its division into four major segments. From that vantage point, one can also easily see the original plan of the designer, Pierre Charles l'Enfant...a perfect cross imposed upon the landscape, with the White House to the north.  The Jefferson Memorial is to the south, the Capitol to the east and the Lincoln
Memorial to the west. Don't believe it. Follow this link and look. This is a link to Google Earth showing Washington DC.

A cross you ask?  Why a cross?  What about separation of church and state? Yes, a cross; separation of church and state was not, is not, in the
Constitution.  So, read on.  How interesting and, no doubt, intended to carry a profound meaning for those who bother to notice.

Praise be to God!  Within the monument itself are 898 steps and 50
landings.  As one climbs the steps and pauses at the landings the memorial stones share a message.  On the 12th Landing is a prayer offered by the City of Baltimore; on the 20th is a memorial presented by some Chinese Christians; on the 24th a presentation made by Sunday School children from New York and Philadelphia quoting Proverbs 10:7, Luke 18:16 and Proverbs
22:6. Praise be to God!

When the cornerstone of the Washington Monument was laid on July 4th, 1848
deposited within it were many items including the Holy Bible presented by the Bible Society.  Praise be to God!  Such was the discipline, the moral direction, and the spiritual mood given by the founder and first President
of our unique democracy .."One Nation, Under God."

I am awed by Washington's prayer for America.  Have you never read it? Well, now is your unique opportunity, so read on!

"Almighty God; We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United
States in Thy holy protection; that Thou wilt incline the hearts of the citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to government; and entertain a brotherly affection ! and love for one another and for their fellow citizens of the United States at large. And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed religion, and without a humble imitation of w hose example in these things we can never hope to be a happy nation.  Grant our
supplication, we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen."

Laus Deo!

When one stops to observe the inscriptions found in public places all over
our nation's capitol, he or she will easily find the signature of God, as
it is unmistakably inscribed everywhere you look. You may forget the width and height of "Laus Deo", its location, or the architects but no one who reads this will be able to forget its meaning, or ! these words: "Unless the Lord builds the house its builders labor in vain.  Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain."  (Psalm 127: 1)

It is hoped you will send this to every child you know; to every sister, brother, father, mother or friend.  They will not find offense, because! you
have given them a lesson in history that they probably never learned in school.  With that, be not ashamed, or afraid, but have pity on those who will never see this because someone failed to send it on.

Illegal Immigration

Yesterday, across this nation thousands of illegal immigrants, Mexicans to be more exact, marched saying we don't have the right to guard our borders, saying they deserve to be American citizens, demanded the same rights and freedoms as the citizens of this country get. Well I for one have to say something about it. Screw you and your mexican ass. Go back south of the border. Sure you can come up here and make money doing the things that some of our people are too damn lazy to do. Want to keep doing it? Come in to this country LEGALLY!

I for one am completely sick and tired of all this bullshit. Lock the damn borders down. Shoot those who try to cross illigally or catch them adn put them right back across the border. Below are some others that have these feelings.

Thoughts for the day.

Remember: amateurs built the ark, professionals built the Titanic.

Talk is cheap because supply exceeds demand.

Conscience is what hurts when everything else feels so good.

An optimist thinks that this is the best possible world. A pessimist fears that this is true.

Even if you are on the right track, you'll get run over if you just stand there.

My inferiority complex is not as good as yours is.

I am having an out of money experience.

It's frustrating when you know all the answers, but nobody bothers to ask you the questions.

You're getting old when you get the same sensation from a rocking chair that you once got from a roller coaster.

Brain cells come and brain cells go, but fat cells live forever.

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either; just leave me the heck alone.

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a broken fan belt and a leaky tire.

It's always darkest before dawn. So if you're going to steal your neighbor's newspaper, that's the time to do it.

Don't be irreplaceable. If you can't be replaced, you can't be promoted.

Always remember that you're unique. Just like everyone else.

Never test the depth of the water with both feet.

If you think nobody cares if you're alive, try missing a couple of car payments.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in his or her shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.

Check the Numbers!

It seems that allot of people have a lot of heartburn with the number of casualties the Iraq war has. Unfortunately, death happens in wars. It is unavoidable. Death in the military is not new either. It happens on our ships, at our bases, during training, during everyday work. But since we have all these bleeding heart liberal asswipes crying about it, Let me see if we can put those 2400 dead US soldiers in some kind of perspective:

In three years 2400 US servicemen and women have been killed

In that same 3-year period 120,000
Americans were killed in Automobile accidents.

In that same three-year period
45, 000 Americans were killed in falls.

In that same three-year period 27,000
Americans were killed from poison.

In that same three-year period 12,000 Americans were killed by drowning.

In that same three year period 1,691,000 Americans were killed by cancer.

In that same three year period 50,000 Americans were murdered in our streets.

That is 1,944,637 Americans killed from right here in the Continental US. (Mind you, for those looking to be exact, I rounded the numbers off to make it easier for the dumbass democrats to figure out.) Looking at those numbers 2400 service members in 3 years is pretty damn good numbers. Look at these are startling statistics that tend to be forgotten with the passage of time: World War II, 406,000 U.S. Service Members killed; Korea 55,000 U.S. Service Members killed; Vietnam, 58,100 U.S. Service Members killed, the Persian Gulf, 147 U.S. Service Members killed.

So looking at that perspective, I think our military leaders and members on the ground in Iraq have done a pretty good job protecting themselves and each other. Maybe all that money spent on training was worth it.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio

To those of you not familiar with Joe Arpaio, he is the Maricopa Arizona County Sheriff and he keeps getting elected over and over.

THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS WHY:

Sheriff Joe Arpaio (in
Arizona ) who created the "tent city jail":

He has jail meals down to 40 cents a serving and charges the inmates for them.

He stopped smoking and porno magazines in the jails. Took away their weights. Cut off all but "G" movies.

He started chain gangs so the inmates could do free work on county and city projects.

Then he started chain gangs for women so he wouldn't get sued for discrimination.

He took away cable TV until he found out there was a federal court order that required cable TV for jails. So he hooked! up the cable TV again only let in the Disney channel and the weather channel.

When asked why the weather channel he replied, so they will know how hot it's gonna be while they are working on my chain gangs.

He cut off coffee since it has zero nutritional value.

When the inmates complained, he told them, "This isn't the Ritz/Carlton. If you don't like it, don't come back."

He bought Newt Gingrich' lecture series on videotape that he pipes into the jails.

When asked by a reporter if he had any lecture series by a Democrat, he replied that a democratic lecture series might explain why a lot of the inmates were in his jails in the first place.

More on the Arizona Sheriff:

With temperatures being even hotter than usual in Phoenix (116 degrees just set a new record), the Associated Press reports: About 2,000 inmates living in a barbed-wire-surrounded tent encampment at the Maricopa County Jail have been given permission to strip down to their government-issued pink boxer shorts.

On Wednesday, hundreds of men wearing boxers were either curled up on their bunk beds or chatted in the tents, which reached 138 degrees inside the week before.

Many were also swathed in wet, pink towels as sweat collected on their chests and dripped down to their pink socks.

"It feels like we are in a furnace," said James Zanzot, an inmate who has lived in the tents for 1 year. "It's inhumane."

Joe Arpaio, the tough-guy sheriff who created the tent city and long ago started making his prisoners wear pink, and eat bologna sandwiches, is not one bit sympathetic.

He said Wednesday that he told all of the inmates:

"It's 120 degrees in Iraq and our soldiers are living in tents too, and they have to wear full battle gear, but they didn't commit any crimes, so shut your damned mouths!"

Way to go, Sheriff! Maybe if all prisons were like this one there would be a lot less crime and/or repeat offenders. Criminals should be punished for their crimes - not live in luxury until it's time for their parole, only to go out and commit another crime so they can get back in to live on taxpayers money and enjoy things taxpayers can't afford to have for themselves.

If you agree, pass this on. copy it and pass it along.
Sheriff Joe was just reelected Sheriff in Maricopa County, Arizona.

Wonder if he has a brother. We need more guys like him in this country. Maybe the Feds should get this too.

What is going on?

So here is the question of the day.

IF according to the article below, crude oil prices are going down,

Why are gas prices going UP!?!

Here's my thoughts on it. Gas prices are going up because spring is here. Spring break has sprung all around the country. People are planning on going on vacation and the oil companies know it. So why not gouge us some more. Crude prices haven't gone up in a month yet gas prices have gone up almost 30 cents or more at the pumps here and pretty much across the south. I guess EXXON and the rest of them are trying to out due their profits from last year. Although we haven't really heard what the other companies posted for profits last year, EXXON post 34 BILLION in PURE PROFIT last year.

Now you figure out why gas prices are $2.60 a gallon (Regular).

And this is where Our taxes Go?

I haven't verify these figures but even if they are incorrect they
are probably close. Maybe we should stop giving them the amount
in percentage to how they vote, or just stop giving it to them at all.

Arabs at the U.N. (How stupid are we?)

This oughta upset everybody:
How they vote in the United Nations:
Below are the actual voting records of various Arabic/Islamic States
which are recorded in both the US State Department and United Nations
records:
Kuwait votes against the United States 67% of the time
Qatar votes against the United States 67% of the time
Morocco votes against the United States 70% of the time
United Arab Emirates votes against the U. S. 70% of the time.
Jordan votes against the United States 71% of the time.
Tunisia votes against the United States 71% of the time.
Saudi Arabia votes against the United States 73% of the time.
Yemen votes against the United States 74% of the time.
Algeria votes against the United States 74% of the time.
Oman votes against the United States 74% of the time.
Sudan votes against the United States 75% of the time.
Pakistan votes against the United States 75% of the time.
Libya votes against the United States 76% of the time.
Egypt votes against the United States 79% of the time.
Lebanon votes against the United States 80% of the time.
India votes against the United States 81% of the time.
Syria votes against the United States 84% of the time.
Mauritania votes against the United States 87% of the time.
U S Foreign Aid to those that hate us:
Egypt, for example, after voting 79% of the time against the United
States, still receives $2 billion annually in US Foreign Aid.
Jordan votes 71% against the United States
And receives $192,814,000 annually in US Foreign Aid.
Pakistan votes 75% against the United States
Receives $6,721,000 annually in US Foreign Aid.
India votes 81% against the United States
Receives $143,699,000 annually.
Perhaps it is time to get out of the UN and give the tax savings back to
the American workers who are having to skimp and sacrifice to pay the
taxes (and gasoline).
Plus lets add to it that the UN is suggesting taxing us on other issues, such as
the Internet, air routes, and a number of other issues too.

Pass this along to every taxpaying citizen you know. And send to your
congressman, who should be disgraced but couldn't care less.
Disgusting, isn't it

Management Lessons

An eagle was sitting on a tree resting, doing nothing. A small rabbit
saw the eagle and asked him, "Can I also sit on my ass like you and do
nothing?"

The eagle answered, "Sure, why not." So, the rabbit sat on the ground
below the eagle and rested.

All of a sudden, a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it.

Management Lesson: To be sitting on your ass and doing nothing, you
must be sitting very high up.

Something to Rant About!

An interesting weekend spent out of Spring Break Central, spent with family and friends, not having to worry about anything really, except the dog getting out...But during the drive it allowed me to think about some things that were said and about some things in the news that really just bother me.

I am not one to really push other blogs but this one which I will give a link to brings up some seriously interesting things. I don't necessarily agree with everything he says but allot I do.
is the link to Insight to Freedom by a guy calling himself Longstreet. His insights can really bring up so interesting thought into what is going on in our country. One of his recent posts brings up New Orleans again and I have to chime in on it. At least weekly we hear more about how New Orleans is in such trouble. The people aren't coming back, the place is in ruins, etc... and of course how it's the Governments fault. Well let me tell you something and you can disagree all you want. Florida, especially the west coast of Florida has been hit at least 4 times, hard in the last 2 years. Do you hear anything about that? The Gulf Coast of Mississippi was hit just as hard as New Orleans during Katrina. Do you hear the people of Bay St Louis and Gulfport Miss. complaining. Not on the national news. Not in the news papers. Do you hear the people of Pensacola, FL screaming and crying about getting hit not once, but 3 times with major storms in the last 2 years? Here is a couple of reasons why you don't hear it. 1) The states of Florida, Alabama and Mississippi prepare for these storms, year round. They ensure the residents have any and all information available to them and get it out to them. 2) Most of us living in this part of the country know that it can happen, and when it does, the only people we can rely on is ourselves. We get out, clean up the mess, start rebuilding with what we have and try to get back to normal. So to New Orleans, I say, sorry to hear you got creamed by Katrina. Now shut up, stop blaming everybody and get to work fixing yourselves. Because that's what it is going to take.

How many of you really think this port deal is going away? Yes the company backed out. Do you really think that a shell company cannot be formed in the US for them to get them deal anyway? Start thinking people. At least, for once Congress is doing something right.

But as for Congress, mid term elections happen this fall. I think it's high time for a change of the guard. Let's get some fresh new meat in there who will listen to what we have to say and for the ones not up for it, lets start making them listen to. Write you congressmen and senators.

Now one that is really getting dear to allot of people. I know at least one person that will agree with this from the rooftops if she could.
ENGLISH!! The language this country was formed on. How many of you have noticed everything turning bilingual or just straight Spanish in our stores? Now don't get me wrong, I understand that we have immigrants that come here that don't speak good English and by being bilingual helps. BUT DAMN IT WHEN I GO INTO A STORE AND CAN'T READ THE FUCKIN LABELS BECAUSE THEY ARE IN SPANISH AND NO ENGLISH, IT REALLY JUST PISSES ME OFF.
Want to live in America, great. Come here LEGALLY, AND LEARN OUR FUCKING LANGUAGE.
No where in the constitution does it say bilingual. The OFFICIAL language of the United States of AMERICA. is ENGLISH!!!!!
Learn the language.

I hate March. Basketball..every damn day. I hate basketball. I don't care about the Final Four. Even if my college team was in it, I wouldn't care. But as I am sure there are others out there who don't like football either....Just had to get that off my chest.

And who really cares that Miloselvic died in prison. 22 updates to the news piece. He's dead. Did he cheat justice? Probably. Who gives a shit now? What can you do about it? He' s dead. Too bad, you took to long to torture him.

Although there is plenty to go one about, I think this is enough for now. Maybe more later.....

It has occured to me....

It has occurred to me that this world we live in is slowly becoming inhabited by complete and utter idiots. Take a look around.
The middle east is slowly but surely blowing themselves up. Pretty soon Iraq won't have anyone there but the US.
Europe is just a mess, no other way to put it.
Russia, in all their infinite wisdom is supporting another complete idiotic nation to make nuclear weapons.
South America is a drug heaven.
Mexico is slowly migrating northward to the US and we like a bunch of dumbass' are letting them. At least the Arizona Governor thinks it's wrong by ordering more National Guard troops to the state's border with Mexico to assist the feds.
Alabama finally found and arrested 3 teens for burning down some 10 churches in the state. No reasons for it have been released.
The sentencing trail of the Al Quada jackass in Virginia continues today. Although I for one, truly believe he ought to get the death sentence for his crimes concerning 9-11, Life in prison, in solitary confinement would be the best thing for him.
Did anyone see that Cindy Sheehan was arrested AGAIN, in New York this time. When is this stupid bitch going to go home?
Why do we have coupons? Just drop the prices and still save some money and alot of trees.
Maybe it's just me but am I the only person out here that sees we just need to fix this.

Monday, March 06, 2006

Well it' s been a long couple of weeks since I posted anything on here. Obviously I haven't felt there was enough to grip about. Well things always find a way to get here if I think hard enough about it. Here are a few:

Pensacola, FLA.  FORMER Navy sailor sentenced. Keona Shawn Berg, who was convicted in January of Attempted Aggrivated Sexual Assualt and Felony Battery was sentenced to 20 years in jail, no parole, has to make restituition to the state, city and the victim, and will be labled a Sexual Preditor. Hell of a statement by the victim. he definately deserved what he got.

Spring break has sprung in Panama City Beach. so now not only do we have Snow Birds, we have 1000's of college students invading our beachs, driving like idiots and MTV here to help it along.

The Academy Awards were last night. Does anyone really give a damn......

The Army is now going to research whether Pat Tillman's death was an enemy fire or a murder. A little late to me.

A University of North Carolina Grad form Iran drives a SUV through a campus gathering spot and seriously injures 9 people. Says it was the will of Allah...When are we going to wake up....and they say Islam is a "Non-Violent" religion. My ass.

I think that's enough for today....
