Conservatives, Liberals and Beer

LIBERALS and CONSERVATIVES:

The division of the human family into its two distinct branches occurred some 10,000 years ago, a few hundred years after the flood. Humans coexisted as members of small bands of nomadic hunter/gatherers.

In the pivotal event of societal evolution, beer was invented. This epochal innovation was both the foundation of modern civilization and the occasion of the great bifurcation of humanity into its two distinct subgroups: Liberals and Conservatives.

Once beer was discovered, it required grain, and that was the beginning of agriculture. Neither the glass bottle or aluminum can had yet been invented, so it was necessary to stick pretty close to the brewery. That's how villages were formed.

Some men spent their days killing animals to barbecue at night while they were drinking beer. This was the beginning of the conservative movement.

Other men who were weaker and less skilled at hunting, learned how to live off conservatives by showing up for the BBQs every night and doing women's work like sewing, fetching and hair dressing. This was the beginning of the liberal movement. Later, some of the liberals actually became women.

Liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, invention of group therapy and democratic voting to see how to divide the beer and meat that the conservatives provided. Women were not interested in democracy at that time because most of them were still women back then, and the conservatives fed them.

Conservatives are symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth. Liberals are symbolized by the jackass.

Modern Liberals like imported beer (they add lime), but most prefer white wine or foreign water in a bottle. They eat raw fish but like their beef well done. Sushi, tofu, and French food are on liberal menus. Their women have more testosterone than the men. Liberals like deviant sex and want others to like it too. Their first successful city governments were Sodom and Gomorrah.

Most social workers, personal injury attorneys, journalists, and group therapists are Liberals. Liberals invented the designated hitter rule in baseball because it wasn't "fair" to make the pitcher also bat..

Conservatives drink domestic beer. They eat red meat, and still provide for their women. Conservatives are big-game hunters, rodeo cowboys, lumber jacks, construction workers, medical doctors, police officers, corporate executives, soldiers, athletes, and generally anyone who works productively outside government. Conservatives who own companies hire other conservatives who want to work for a living.

Liberals do not produce anything. They like to "govern" the producers and decide what is to be done with the production. Liberals believe Europeans are more enlightened than Americans. That is why most of the liberals just stayed in Europe when conservatives were coming to America.

Conservatives have principles, believe in a Creator, and the rule of law. They practice charity and give to the poor, normally through their churches. When in doubt on an issue, they check both the Bible and the Constitution, which they use as a constant reference in a changing world. They believe in the concept of truth.

Liberals do not have principles, except for their dedication to stealing production of conservatives and undermining principled references such as the Bible and Constitution. They are never in doubt on an issue because they always do whatever is best for them without regard to others. They have no standard of reference. Liberals do not give to charity. They cultivate the poor like a cat cultivates a field of mice. They use the poor as voters and give them a portion of stolen tax money which they vote away from conservatives.

Conservatives believe in self defense, both at home and abroad. They own guns and use them to discourage liberals and other common criminals. They provide guns to the armed forces to discourage foreign liberals and other foreign criminals.

Liberals do not believe in conservative self defense. They disarm conservatives, and then attack them with impunity by liberal armies with guns. King George, Hitler and Stalin were all liberals who abandoned the rule of Law, had no principles except their own self indulgence, and attempted to tax and govern conservatives. Liberals believe in BIG government. They think the United Nations is the ultimate answer.

Conservatives believe in the rule of law and when sitting on juries, convict common criminals and acquit fellow conservatives who have been charged by liberals. When serving in the armed forces, they shoot liberals from other countries who want to govern our country. Conservatives know the difference between a common-sense law and a bone-headed statute passed by some liberal from Massachusetts. When sitting on juries, they do not enforce bone-headed statutes, and don't explain their reasons.

Liberals only believe in whatever laws are appealing to them, such as the privilege of making a living by taxing conservatives. When sitting on juries, liberals convict producers and acquit liberals and other common criminals. Modern Judges are all liberals as they do not produce anything except chaos, and are paid with confiscated tax money. They consider it against the law to reference any source of law such as the Bible or Constitution. Like other liberals, they just make it up as they go and do what is best for them. Judge Roy Bean is their model.

The American cowboy, of course, is your basic, full-bore Conservative. A hundred years ago, an Englishman visiting Texas was attempting to find the owner of a huge cattle ranch. He rode up to one of the ranch hands, and inquired, "Pardon me, but could you perhaps tell me where I might locate your master?" To which the cowboy replied, "That son of a bitch ain't been born yet".

So, what'll it be? Wine or Beer? Domestic or Imported?

A Tribute to a Old Salt....

This tribute was sent to me from an old shipmate and friend Mark in Chesapeake VA.

*Old Sailors sit and chew the fat *
*'bout how things use to be,
of the things they've seen *
*and places they've been,
when they ventured out to sea. *
**
*They remember friends from long ago *
*and the times they had back then, *
*of the money they've spilled *
*and the beer they've swilled *
*in their days as sailing men.*
* *
*Their lives are lived in days gone by , *
*with thoughts that forever last,
of Dixie cup hats and bell bottom blues, *
*and the good times in their past.*
* *
*They recall long nights *
*with a moon so bright *
*far out on a lonely sea,
and thoughts they had *
*as youthful lads *
*when their lives were unbridaled and free.*
* *
*They know so well how their hearts would swell *
*when the flag fluttered proud and free, *
*and the stars and stripes made such beautiful sights *
*as they plowed through an angry sea.*
* *
*They talk of the bread *
*Ole Cookie would bake *
*and the shrill of the bo'sun's pipe, *
*and how the salt spray *
*fell like sparks out of hell *
*when a storm struck in the night. *
**
*They remember mates already gone *
*who forever hold a spot *
*in the stories of old when sailors were bold *
*and lubbers a pitiful lot. *
**
*They rode their ships **through many a storm *
*when the sea was showing its might, *
*and the mighty waves might be digging their graves *
*as they sailed on through the night.*
* *
*They speak of nights in a bawdy house *
*somewhere on a foreign shore, *
*and the beer they'd downed *
*as they gathered around *
*cracking jokes with a busty whore.*
* *
*Their sailing days are gone away, *
*never more will they cross the brow, *
*but they have no regrets *
*for they know they've been blessed *
*'cause they honored their sacred vow.*
* *
*Their numbers grow less with each passing day *
*as their chits in this life are called, *
*but they've nothing to lose *
*for they've paid their dues *
*and they'll sail with their shipmates again.*
* *
*I've heared them say *
*before getting underway *
*that there is still some sailing to do, *
*and they'll exclaim with a grin *
*that their ship has come in,
and the Lord is commanding the crew.*

A View from Canada

I researched this article just to make sure it was really written by this journalist....and it was.....www.davidwarrenonline.com. Visit his sight for many other essays with an observation from the outside.

George Bush, the man
David Warren The Ottawa Citizen

Sunday, September 11, 2005

There's plenty wrong with America, since you asked. I'm tempted to say that the only difference from Canada is that they have a few things right. That would be unfair, of course -- I am often pleased to discover things we still get right.

But one of them would not be disaster preparation. If something happened up here, on the scale of Katrina, we wouldn't even have the resources to arrive late. We would be waiting for the Americans to come save us, the same way the government in Louisiana just waved and pointed at Washington, D.C. The theory being that, when you're in real trouble, that's where the adults live.

And that isn't an exaggeration. Almost everything that has worked in the recovery operation along the U.S. Gulf Coast has been military and National Guard. Within a few days, under several commands, finally consolidated under the remarkable Lt.-Gen. Russel Honore, it was once again the U.S. military efficiently cobbling together a recovery operation on a scale beyond the capacity of any other earthly institution.

We hardly have a military up here. We have elected one feckless government after another that has cut corners until there is nothing substantial left. We don't have the ability even to transport and equip our few soldiers. Should disaster strike at home, on a big scale, we become a Third World country. At which point, our national smugness is of no avail.

From Democrats and the American Left -- the U.S. equivalent to the people who run Canada -- we are still hearing that the disaster in New Orleans showed that a heartless, white Republican America had abandoned its underclass.

This is garbage. The great majority of those not evacuated lived in assisted housing and receive food stamps, prescription medicine and government support through many other programs. Many have, all their lives, expected someone to lift them to safety, without input from themselves. And the demagogic mayor they elected left, quite literally, hundreds of transit and school buses that could have driven them out of town parked in rows, to be lost in the flood.

Yes, that was insensitive. But it is also the truth; and sooner or later we must acknowledge that welfare dependency creates exactly the sort of haplessness and social degeneration we saw on display, as the floodwaters rose. Many suffered terribly, and many died, and one's heart goes out. But already the survivors are being put up in new accommodations, and their various entitlements have been directed to new locations.

The scale of private charity has also been unprecedented. There are yet no statistics, but I'll wager the most generous state in the union will prove to have been arch-Republican Texas and that, nationally, contributions in cash and kind are coming disproportionately from people who vote Republican. For the world divides into "the mouths" and "the wallets."

The Bush-bashing, both down there and up here, has so far lost touch with reality, as to raise questions about the bashers' state of mind.

Consult any authoritative source on how government works in the United States and you will learn that the U.S. federal government's legal, constitutional, and institutional responsibility for first response to Katrina, as to any natural disaster, was zero.

Notwithstanding, President Bush took the prescient step of declaring a disaster, in order to begin deploying FEMA and other federal assets, two full days in advance of the stormfall. In the little time since, he has managed to co-ordinate an immense recovery operation -- the largest in human history -- without invoking martial powers. He has been sufficiently presidential to respond, not even once, to the extraordinarily mendacious and childish blame-throwing.

One thinks of Kipling's poem If, which I learned to recite as a lad, and mention now in the full knowledge that it drives postmodern leftoids and gliberals to apoplexy -- as anything that is good, beautiful, or true:

If you can keep your head when all about you

Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;

If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,

But make allowance for their doubting too;

If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,

Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,

Or being hated, don't give way to hating,

And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise .

Unlike his critics, Bush is a man, in the full sense presented by these verses. A fallible man, like all the rest, but a man.

THE FINAL INSPECTION

THE FINAL INSPECTION

The soldier stood and faced God,
Which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining,
Just as brightly as his brass.

"Step forward now, you soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"

The soldier squared his shoulders and said,
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't.
Because those of us who carry guns,
Can't always be a saint.

I've had to work most Sundays,
And at times my talk was tough.
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.

But, I never took a penny,
That wasn't mine to keep...
Though I worked a lot of overtime,
When the bills got just too steep.

And I never passed a cry for help,
Though at times I shook with fear.
And sometimes, God, forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.

I know I don't deserve a place,
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around,
Except to calm their fears.

If you've a place for me here, Lord,
It needn't be so grand.
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand.

There was a silence all around the throne,
Where the saints had often trod.
As the soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.

"Step forward now, you soldier,
You've borne your burdens well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."

Judge declares Pledge unconstitutional

SAN FRANCISCO, California (AP) -- Reciting the Pledge of Allegiance in public schools was ruled unconstitutional Wednesday by a federal judge who granted legal standing to two families represented by an atheist who lost his previous battle before the U.S. Supreme Court.

U.S. District Judge Lawrence Karlton ruled that the pledge's reference to one nation "under God" violates school children's right to be "free from a coercive requirement to affirm God."

Karlton said he was bound by precedent of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, which in 2002 ruled in favor of Sacramento atheist Michael Newdow that the pledge is unconstitutional when recited in public schools.

What F'n CRAP IS THIS. SPINLESS JUDGES ON THE BENCH. THIS HAS BEEN A STAPLE IN AMERICAN SCHOOLS FOR DECADES. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO OUR COUNTRY? DAMN IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT HERE OR LIKE OUR CONSTITUTION THEN LEAVE AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. !!!

More stuff to ponder.

Ever heard the joke about the 1000 lawyers at the bottom of the sea being a good start. I found one of the 1000 on a blog today. http://anonymouslawyer.blogspot.com/  This guy is perfect idiot and just think there are 1000's more just like him. How in their right mind would want to be a lawyer anyway?

To other news. Another stupid ass has joined in the Al-Qaida network of dipshits who have attempted to frighten this country with their empty threats. Adam Gadahn, an AMERICAN born jack ass has now threatened L.A. and Australia with more violence. I think we need to turn back the clock on some things, go back to wearing and using fire arms when crimes are committed. Screw death row. Shot the fuckers on sight and same us some money. Someone please shot this idiot on sight!

The owners of the nursing home in New Orleans where all those people died were arrested yesterday, and released on $50,000 bond each. 34 counts each! RELEASED! Basically killed 34 people who depended on them to live. " We didn't evacuate them because we never received and mandatory evacuation order". He was quoted as saying. HOW FUCKING STUPID IS THAT? Hope they have real good insurance, and some real good lawyers too. (OOPS! There is no such thing as a good lawyer!)

Micheal Jackson is SUPPOSEDLY making a song for the victims of Katrina. Probably the only way he can get back in the music industry. I think I will find a better way to support the victims though......

News flash

Bush says the government screwed up during the hurricane thing, and HE TAKES RESPONSIBILITY!!!!!

I am amazed! Someone took responsibility for something? And it really wasn't his fault....he's displaying leadership!!!! Sign of the apocalypse????

Do you think Gore would have done that? Clinton? Kerry? Not a chance in hell. I honestly don't know how Bush stands it, listening to people complain about everything he does, and still he can do this. Display leadership, I mean.

In other news, Ohio police find 8 kids locked in cages at their Northern Ohio home according to CNN. Story states the parents said they did it to protect them from each other. NO CHARGES FILED AGAINST THE PARENTS. WTFO? That isn't abuse. I can't spank my kid when he screws up but I can put him in a cage and not get in trouble. What the hell is wrong with this picture..

More bodies found in the New Orleans....up to 249... Still looking for the owners of the nursing home where they found all those people. State and Feds now looking form them. 160,000 homes destroyed is the estimate from LA right now.

I have been reading some other blogs out there and you know what, there are some really screwed up people out there. There is a few that really have something to say or are at least entertaining. Between the Bush bashers and the military haters I have grown to say you all are a bunch of fucknuts and asshats. those of you who think that America sucks so bad, do those of us who don't, Pack your shit and leave! Let those of us who love this country and what it stands for try and do something besides creating hate and discontent.

Happy birthday Babes.......

Friday.

Friday... No more work for the rest of the weekend. At least here anyway.
Life in the Gulf states remains perilous at best.
New Orleans has got some pumps running finally, and water levels are decreasing. People aare finally getting to go into the city and inspect thier homes. That is if they can get to it. Fatality numbers still rising.......
Don't hear alot about Mississippi. Gulfport area was flattened but you still don't hear alot coming out of there. Wonder why? Hey, maybe it's because they had leadership in the government that got them out of there in time, preventing unnecessary losses of life.
Going to Jacksonville in the morning.....to see my little buddy and his mom and dad.

Another Day in Paradise

Paradise. Well let me tell you, paradise is not looking for a house in Panama City Beach. Either it's too small and won't fit my furniture, Backyard is too small for the stuff I have back there or not fenced in for my dogs, or won't except pets. My dogs are part of the family. Had Shana for 13 years. Can't get rid of her. Bear is 5 and has become Shana's best friend really. Keeps her young even though he is such and asshole. Still looking though.....

Got a cell phone that excepts text messaging, downloads of ringers, etc.Better check your bills good. If you use MQube (http://www.m-qube.com)  you may be getting billed for stuff you don't want. Downloaded 1 ringer and now have 56 different charges for some Mobile Messanger Chat from some piece of shit company SMS.AC.(www.SMS.AC) at $1.99 per charge. Having a fun time with Cingular and these companies getting this straight. I am not paying for them, I didn't ask for it, I'll be damned if I will pay for it.

On another note, BIC just celebrated it's 1 Billionth pen. Where did they all go????

They are finding more and more people or should I say bodies in LA. We should expect the numbers to rise greatly.
Now if all the liberal asswipes would just shut up and pitch in, may be we can get these folks the help they need etc.

A Messge from the Ghost of Patton!

Here is a message from the Ghost of General George Patton. Says plenty to those that really need it.

Letter to that Ass Micheal Moore

You want help for New Orleans?  While I agree that there is a desperate need for assistance, I have to personally disagree with your standings on whose fault it is, but first I must address this.
While you sit there in you nice air conditioned house, typing away on your keyboard, posting superfluous nonsense, you could just get off your fat ass and go and help. How much of your millions are you donating? Where is Brad Pitt, and the traitorous bitch Jane Fonda, and BONO and all those who follow your line? Where is their money? I will give 1 up to Sean Penn, at least he is trying to do something. Got of his butt, went there with a boat is trying to help rescue people. I don't see any of the other Democraps out there either. Where are the Senators and Represenetatives?
Back to the blame.
First, take a good look at the Mayor of New Orleans. Did he send out the 1000 or so school buses to get those who had no transportation? No he didn't and don't give me the load of crap that he had no drivers. If a 15 year old kid can drive one, so could any number of people. Did he try and enlist someone, anyone to drive those buses? Obviously not. Because thay are still sitting there, now under water.
Second, what about the Governor of LA. What did she do to protect her state? Obviously not enough. Did she call up the LA National Guard to help? No and she has that authority. Did she call for assistance from neighboring states BEFORE the storm?
As for the National Guard, do you have any idea how long it takes to get them mobilized? No you wouldn't because you have no military time. Wouldn't know how to put on the uniform much less be disciplined enough to do the job. Plus your too fat. You want helicopters. Great, find them some fuel to run those sweet sounding turbines that have to run on fuel to keep them in the air. To add to that, you now have to have 2 helo's to go in at once. 1 to rescue and 1 gunship to protect it from the assholes on the ground that are shooting at it.
Why don't you use your massive influence that you think you have and put it to some decent good instead of bashing the one government official who actually took the first step BEFORE the damn storm hit to do something, because if you had watched the news before the storm, he, Pres. Bush, declared LA, MISS, ALA all federal disaster areas, and issued a federal disaster emergency BEFORE the storm even touched land when the Governor and the Mayor should have been acting to evacuate New Orleans when they could have gotten more people out of the city and to safety.
